Denny Hecker closes 6 dealerships, sells 3 others

Prominent Twin Cities automotive entrepreneur Denny Hecker announced Friday he has closed six of his dealerships and sold three others because of the poor economy. The shutdown will mean 400 employees — about a third of his work force — will be out of a job.
