A chauffeured sedan often with a longer wheelbase and usually with a division between the chauffeur and the passengers.
In the Classic Era and later, the rear compartment had luxurious features with controls for heating, radio and opening and closing the glass division.

A "TIRED", moonlighting stretch limousine driver who killed a boy of two in a motorway pile-up was jailed for six years. John Woolston, of Wyndham Road, East Ham, crashed into a line of cars that had stopped for roadworks, "skittling them like ninepins," Maidstone Crown Court heard last week.
